Tequila and Lime Quencher

Ingredients

• 2 ounces gold tequila
• 2 ounces lime cordial
• Crushed ice

Directions

1. Fill a tall glass with crushed ice.
2. Pour tequila and lime cordial over ice and stir.
3. Sip drink slowly to allow ice to melt a little.

Sloe Tequila

Ingredients

• 1 ounce tequila of choice (silver or gold)
• 1 ounce of sloe gin
• 1/2 ounce lime cordial
• Cubed ice

Directions

1. Fill a shaker about 3/4 full with ice.
2. Pour tequila, sloe gin and lime cordial over the ice and shake it.
3. Pour mixture into tall glass filled with ice and sip it with a straw.

Wooly Mammoth

Ingredients

• 1 ounce silver tequila
• 1 ounce lime cordial
• 1 ounce peach schnapps
• 1 ounce coconut rum
• 1 ounce white rum
• 2 ounces lemonade
• Crushed ice

Directions

1. Fill a shaker 1/2 with crushed ice
2. Pour tequila, lime cordial, peach schnapps, both types of run and lemonade into the shaker and shake.
3. Pour mixture into a highball glass and sip with a straw.

South-of-the-Border BB Gun

Ingredients

• 1 ounce gold or silver tequila
• 1 ounce Sambuca liqueur
• 1 ounce vodka
• 1 splash lime cordial
• 1 splash lime juice
• 1 splash club soda
• Crushed ice

Directions

1. Fill a Collins glass with crushed ice.
2. Add all ingredients to the glass.
3. Stir well and sip with a straw.

Cinco de Mayo

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 ounces gold or silver tequila
• 1 ounce lime cordial
• 1 ounce grenadine
• 1 lime wedge
• Maraschino cherry
• Crushed ice

Directions

1. Fill a shaker about 3/4 full with ice.
2. Pour tequila, lime cordial and grenadine over the ice and shake it.
3. Pour mixture into a martini glass and garnish with lime wedge and maraschino cherry.

Madras

Ingredients

• 1 ounce gold or silver tequila
• 1/2ounce lime cordial
• 3 ounces cranberry juice
• 1/2 ounce orange juice
• 1 orange wedge

Directions

1. Fill a shaker about 3/4full with ice.
2. Pour tequila, lime cordial, cranberry juice and orange juice over the ice and shake it.
3. Pour mixture into a highball glass and garnish with orange wedge.

Difference Between Lime Cordial and Lime Juice

In the mid-1800s, scurvy was a top concern for sailors, and the British government gave them daily doses of lime juice and rum to prevent it.
